SOLICITORS
Two parties who are in conflict can resolve their dispute by way of mediation and with the aid of an impartial third party (the Mediator). The process is confidential and voluntary and any settlements achieved can be recorded and signed in order to become an enforceable contract.
Our mediation services are available to clients in Cork who are wishing to avoid bringing a dispute to court. Both parties discuss their grievances and try to come to a solution that resolves the issue as quickly as possible. Mediation respects both parties and is a cost-effective solution to dispute resolution.
An accredited and trained Mediator will act as a referee during the mediation process and ensure that the rules of the mediation are followed. The Mediator does not give advice to either side, but remains impartial and helps the parties open or improve the dialogue between them, and so helps the parties agree with a solution to their dispute.
